Happy Holidays From My Family To Yours!!!

This year is coming to an end and I have to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for a wonderful year. I've traveled all over the east coast and through many places in and out of Virginia that I'd never heard of :) I've shared trials and tribulations and celebrations and milestones with many of you. There are so many of you who I look forward to seeing, I wish I could thank you all individually.

My "12 Days of Healthy Hair" event was a complete success, as usual. Educating others on healthy hair has always been something I look forward to but mostly, it was about showing appreciation for my clients. 16 hour days/nights and we're all wrapped up! It is very important to keep your ends moisturized and trimmed on an average of every 6-8 weeks. Naturals who are in transition may need them trimmed more frequently, based on the condition of your ends. Trimming split or dead ends is imperative to the healthy growth of your hair. When you have split ends, they will split up the shaft of the hair and stop the growth process, leading to breakage.

SFG Program First Quarter Kicks Off Today!

Today marks the first day of my Styles For Grades Program in the Richmond City, Chesterfield and Henrico County school districts! Report cards are being distributed and I'm excited to see how many students have made Honor/Scholar Roll.  Interest in the program has been pretty high so I anticipate several participants this year. A physical copy of your child's report card must be presented in order for the discount to be applied. All services will be mobile and an additional fee will apply, based on your specific location. Though we should take a moment out of every day to honor our soldiers and veterans, I would like to salute all of our soldiers, active duty, retired, and veterans for your service to our country. Having lived in the largest military installation for nearly 10 years, there are so many whom I've worked alongside personally.
